"Ciao Espresso" Campaign

The brief from our client WAYS Coffee & Shop was short: "To sell more coffee". And so we did.

We visited the store and asked the cashier to greet every customer with: “Hi, would you like an espresso?” Then we placed posters that read: WAYS doesn’t make coffee. We make espresso—just like in Italy.

Coffee drink sales went up, and we successfully spread the word that WAYS serves italian espresso.

We created a sub-brand that complements the main brand while having a distinct identity of its own. With tailored visuals for multiple channels, it added value both externally and internally.

Ciao Espresso featured small espresso cups and became part of the employee uniform through custom pins. The cat mascot added an extra touch of charm and so we sold more coffee.
